Improved Domus flexible hose is good for the environment and the pocket

Polypipe Ventilation, manufacturers of the market leading Domus range of domestic and light commercial ventilation products, is pleased to announce some environmental improvements to its flexible hose for use in domestic and light
commercial ventilation.

The majority of flexible hose systems are made using wire which is glued to the duct fabric.  However, as opposed to most other UK PVC flexible hose suppliers, Polypipe Ventilation has changed to a solvent free manufactured product which
reduces the environmental impact of the process.  In addition, this reduces end user risk from toxins that may cause skin problems.

Polypipe Ventilation flexible hose also differs from the majority of comparable products due to the use of high tensile wire. Unlike mild steel wire, the hire tensile wire maintains structural integrity under duress.  Not only is this good news for end users as optimum airflow and hence system efficiency is ensured, but it also benefits the installer as it is less likely to become damaged in transit and on site either during installation or retrospectively by other trades.
